Sometimes i have headaches 5 or 6 times a week and i sometimes even wake up with them.

Def. discuss with GP: If this is a new presentation of recurring headache it should be discussed with your primary physician. Morning headaches raise a red flag so discussing with your physician is important. Most often its a benign condition causing headaches. Given that this sounds new I would definitely discuss with your physician. Additionally the characteristics of your headache are important to discuss.
