A member asked:

I'm 29 and was wondering why a woman's period would go from super heavy her whole life to this month being light and pink instead of dark red?

Hormonal changes: I wouldn't question a good thing, but sometimes a shift in hormones based upon changes in diet/weight/stress/lifestyle can affect the way your uterine lining develops and sheds. Having a lighter period would not be as concerning as missing a period altogether. Keep track of what happens next month with a menstrual calendar.
