Stimulants: Stimulants like Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) and Vyvance are indicated for ADHD as first line. The advantage of the medicines you are taking is that they are not scheduled and may be prescribed within a telemedicine visit as a Prime visit. You will need a "brick and mortor" visit for a stimulant as there are strict guidelines for their use as scheduled drugs. Your local family doctor or psychiatrist can evaluate.

It depends on: How long meds are taken, evaluation for the proper diagnosis, and the doses of the meds. Sometimes meds can require time for them to elicit an effect. Without knowing more about you, your history, it’s hard to say. There are alternatives to these meds, but you’d need a careful eval to see what your specific needs are to help you. Please seek an eval with a psychiatrist, and good luck!
