Probably Unrelated: I assume he is biting or chewing on his tongue which is why you ask. Many kids will do this when they are cutting teeth because it feels good to them. I doubt the eczema has anything to do with it. Do check his tongue to make sure there are no sores or places that need attention. If there are sores, have them checked by his pediatrician or dentist. He's old enough he needs his teeth checked!
