Lump: more than likely it is an abscess that is superficial infection of the skin. Please see your Primary care such that it can be drained properly and you are put on antibiotics

Likely abscess: I suspect this is a bacterial infection. It seems to be an abscess Likely caused by a bacteria called Staphylococcus aureus. You may need to drain it and take An antibiotic. See a doctor.
