Im a 22 year old female I have been having mild constipation on and off for the past two months but now a lot of times I have to strain to poop and when I poop I noticed a lot of times my stool looks a little stringy or ribbon concerned about cancer?
Is it normal that my stool is short like 3-4 inch with another pieces (not much long) but it's not hard or constipated (i poop every morning), is it considered like flat or ribbon like stool?
My stool was coming out long, flat & ribbon-like. But now it's coming out in much smaller flat pieces. Like shards. I also go about 3-5 times a day.
For almost a week now I have noticed my stool has had that ribbon shape to it. The first stool out is closer to normal shape but everything after has that ribbon shape. No blood, no pain. Anything to worry about?
