It could be: As you get closer to the onset of labor, normally changes in your cervix and cervical mucus may begin and you may "discharge your "mucus plug" . Consult your obstetrician or midwife regarding the results of your GBS screen and your GC/CT and Pap tests. If you are concerned about a vaginal infection or the premature leakage of amniotic fluid you will need a vaginal examination. Why azithromycin?
