Pill: If you are on micronor (norethindrone) as listed, that is the most likely cause of menstrual irregularities. It is a progestin only pill. The progestin is what provides contraception in birth control pills. The estrogen is added for cycle control. Your endometrium is getting the signal not to grow so your periods can be very light or if it becomes very thin/raw you can bleed heavily. Hope this helps.
