Coping w/ depression: Mood regulators include sleep, healthy diet, exercise, and avoid alcohol and substances. Try to find an expressive outlet...talk to someone, journal, or art. Depression can often look like anger turned inward, so make an effort to be kind to yourself, less judgmental. Look for opportunities to build your confidence, or at least remind yourself of your strengths.

Love that word!: You reveal wisdom by using 'cope' when so many say 'cure'. By that, you've already done a bit. A CBT therapist you trust to work with can teach you skills for it. Involvement in things of value to you across all types will help - great if they are also 'good for you' like exercise or volunteering, but your interest is even more impt! Avoid meds unless an eval shows you need that. Keep well!
