Tragus ear ring: Cleaning it by taking it out once a week and cleaning the ear ring and the piercing with hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol and then applying a little vaseline should keep the area healthy and clean. Mind you that rings in ear going through cartilage can cause keloid type scars even if you are not prone to keloids. If you see that happening, see a plastic surgeon.
