A member asked:

What can you tell me about parkinson's disease and its impact on the nervous system?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Comments: Very complex, but it is a multi neurotransmitter deficiency syndrome, predominantly affecting dopamine. Problems include tremor at rest, stiffness, gait imbalance, swallowing and bowel problems, changes in cognition, and pain, to name a few. Bad disorder, which needs close neurological supervision.
