A member asked:

How can someone get strep throat or tuberculosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

From others: Both of the two things you mention are infectious diseases caused by bacteria. You contract these diseases when you have contact with someone or something that has the bacteria on it. This could be a kiss from an infected individual or drinking from the glass of someone who has the infection. TB can be caught by inhaling droplets of the coughing from an infected individual. Always wash hands!
