Sore breasts: The oral contraceptive pills have very little estrogen and progestins, and while taking them, ovarian production of estrogen/progesterone is stopped. At age 34, the amount of estrogen produced by the ovaries is much higher than when one is 20/25/30, so the effects of a "natural cycle" after years of taking "the pill" would be predictable in causing sore breasts by comparison to a "pill cycle".
