What are some degenerative diseases of the nervous system?

Dr. Bennett Machanic
Neurology 54 years experience
Too many to list: However, a few include Alzheimer's, frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson's, Huntington's, spinocerebellar degenerations, motor neuron diseases, etc. Please note that the term degenerative is now considered archaic, as we have learned that many of our disorders have understood causes, and a no longer as mysterious as in years' past.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
