A member asked:

Its been 3 years since my first menstrual cycle, and it's still not regular, what's wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovulation: Consistent ovulation in the absence of contraception is sometimes difficult for new period starters. Your first cycle at 13 was a little later than the average of 11 to 12 years old so give it another year of periods to see if by 17 things become regular. If not see a ob-gyn md for answers before you head off to adulthood at age 18..
