There are some: Most chemotherapy drugs have some long term effects yet most of these do not interfere with a long term survival. One we worry about may include sterility and heart damage in a small percentage of patients. Fortunately a majority of patients do not have either of these problems. So in general patients live near normal lives once their Cancer has been cured(survival beyond 5-years).
