Ultrasounds: Ultrasounds are much more reliable for diagnosing ovarian cysts. CTs are better for looking for other things such as appendicitis. Much more information would be necessary to say what might be causing your pain ( where it is, what it is like, what makes it better or worse, etc.). Since you are not getting better, you need to discuss it with your doctor or get a second opinion. Hope this helps.
