Rib pain w/cough: Hurt when you press? Can be costochondritis, inflammation of the junction of rib and breast bone,Started after the coughing started? could be due to sprain of muscles between ribs from coughing. May need antibiotics for cough, if coughing a month, consider Zpak for atypicals. Does it hurt when you just breathe? are you on BCP? Smoke? Rarely could be clot in lung, if so f/u today w/doc urgent care
