Broken Capillary: It sounds like you have an inflamed vein or broken capillary - with resolving ecchymosis giving it a greenish color. Itching is caused by inflammation. try cool compresses and/or 1% Hydrocortisone cream. Your symptoms should resolve with time. Take care!
