A member asked:

A friend of mine has a small benign brain tumor at 27 and the doctor says they're pretty common but they're just not symptomatic. is this true?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

True- sort of: I wouldn't say they're "common" but I'd agree they're probably more common than we realize since most are found by chance. My guess is that she has a meningioma. In some instances they may cause problems with autonomic functions such as heartrate and blood pressure or seizures but this is not as common as their being not very interesting.
