Probably not: Typically you are most fertile about 12-14 days before your period. However, it is hard to tell exactly when a period is due, especially when you are young. So yes, you could be off and then get pregnant. SO, do you know what they call people who have unprotected sex? Parents! You should ALWAYS use a condom, because you don't need a baby at your age and you don't EVER want AIDS/VD.

Yep: Avoiding pregnancy by trimming intercourse based on your period is not a good strategy. It is not always possible to know when you are ovulating.
