Folliculitis: is usually a bacterial (Staphylococcus) infection and a strong antibacterial shampoo is indicated. Better see a Dermatologist for such advice! Hope this helps Dr Z

Folliculitis: Not knowing your genetic origin.........fungus is the most common culprit. Bacterial infection may be primary or secondary. Scalp care, antibiotic/antifungal will help.
