Uterine cervix: ligaments attaching your uterus to the pelvis are often irritated if you develop inflammation in that area, but why only during ovulation, could be the congestion in that area with more blood flow, if you are really suffering please arrange for a gynecologist visit during ovulation for a pelvic exam and may be an ultrasound, good luck
