Dr prescribed starding dose 50mcg thyroxine but some confusion i have taken 25mcg over 20day then stop.can i start thyroxine 50mcg after a week gap.

Contact your MD: Both 25 and 50 mcg doses are relatively small for a 23 year old. There likely would be no problem starting the 50 mcg immediately. However, it is always a good idea to check with the prescribing doctor to verify exactly what they would want you to do.
