Allergy: Eosinophilic esophagitis is food allergies, In an allergic individual you can get oral allergy as well, just eating something allergic can cause allergy to the roof of the mouth, the face, where it came in contact with the foods. Due to food allergen: 39 year old female with pain on roof of mouth when swallowing food due to Eosinophilic Esophagitis a chronic immunologic disorder in which some white cells called Eosinophils reacting to some food Allergens form a build up of the lining of the mucus membrane in the mouth and swallowing tube, (Esophagus) causing irritation and pain when food touches the roof of the mouth while swallowing
