Chemo RT: The lesions that appear in the head and neck area that are HPV related are squamous cancers. Several approaches can be used. If in posterior pharynx then transhyoid pharyngotomy can expose lesion for resection. Gamma knife therapy may bring lesion under control and chemo using 1-2000 mg. methotrexate with citrovorum factor over 12-24 hrs. may eliminate if not bring lesion under control.

Depends: That depends on how advanced it is locally and if it has spread to other organs like the lungs. Also depends on overall health of the person. If this question refers to you, then please consider going to a cancer center that has experience in treating head and neck cancers (to find out if it is really inoperable and to hear about all treatment options and clinical trials).
