Muscle spasm: May be a muscle spasm. Any history of injury or illness? If it is persisting more than 24 hours, should see a physician.

In your age group: Trapezius muscle spasm/irritation is the most likely cause. Try to address your posture and work place ergonomics. NSAID's help.
