Gout?: Sudden pain in one spot under the skin means inflammatory or other type of deposit that irritates your nerves in that spot. In gout, you have uric acid crystal deposits in the soft tissue which can be very painful. That is just one possiblity..get examined by a physician who may order the appropriate tests
