Beware of recurrence: If you are still having diarrhea after the second round of Flagy, then you should re consult your doctor. You might need to take Vancomycin by mouth to treat the C. difficile infection. Beware that when C. difficile recurs, the risk of recurrence increase and you might get a third episode.
