Lost in translation?: The average 1 year old weighs about 10 kg., so 100-125 mg of a pediatric formulation of paracetamol 3X a day is safe. Histop pediatric syrup contains chlorpheniramine 2 mg/5ml. For a 1 year old, a safer dose would be 1 ml up to 4x/day. Neither should be used for more than 3 days without consulting your pediatrician. I hope this helps.
