Evaluate it: Bladder irritation requires proper work up. Irritation can be from anything such as cancers, stones, infections, foreign bodies, and even dietary irritants, etc. Proper testing may include a urinalysis, urine culture, and even a cystoscopy procedure to look in the bladder, if indicated. Once the diagnosis is made, the source of irritation can usually be removed and treatment completed.
