Modestly effective: Fluoropyrimidines (5-FU, Capecitabine and UFT) as a class have modest activity and one of these 3 needs to be combined with Oxaliplatin and or Irinotecan to achieve best results ,as combination chemo is far superior in efficacy than any single chemo drug
