Pelvic pain: Severe pain or cramping is never normal. You should be checked by a gyn specialist for a problem with the Mirena (levonorgestrel) or other gyn issues like pelvic infection.

Exam : Hard to say with such limited information. You could schedule a visit to have your IUD checked in to see if you have a vaginal infection.
