A member asked:

Does the body make a resistence to topical anti-biotic gel/cream by time ... or it just happens for only oral anti-biotics ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antibiotic resistanc: Your body does not become resistant to either drug. You may develop an allergy. Bacteria may develop resistance, which you could call immunity, to an antibiotic. Whether bacteria become resistant has nothing to do with you. so a particular antibiotic may not work for a particular disease not because your body has become resistant , but because the organism has become resistant.
