Normal variation: There is some normal variation in cycle length and that is likely what is going on. Anything from 21 days to 35-42 days (depending on the source) is normal. At this point I don't believe any intervention is necessary. Wait and see what your next period is like and, if you are worried, check a pregnancy test.Pregnancy, however, doesn't usually cause an early period.
