Food Allergies: Any allergy test has to be correlated with clinical findings. In other words, do you have any allergy symptoms when you eat certain foods or did you get a massive panel of blood tests that showed you were allergic to every food. I take those findings with scepticism. If a Board Certified Allergist has tested you and correlated your symptoms with allergies then I believe. Adults may become immune.

Not as many studies: There aren't as many studies out there on people who have outgrown food allergies who were diagnosed as adults but since children can outgrow their allergies and their immune systems can change, I don't see what an adult's body couldn't do the same. I just can't give you specific time period, just like you couldn't give a child a specific time period or a period at all. Good luck though.
