Tooth pain: is it possible that you are running outside in the cold weather. Running in the cold can cause the sensitivity you are speaking of. Another possibility is that your pain is tooth related and you are getting referred pain to the ear. If you are only experiencing this when you run and no other time and you are running in the cold that is normal. You could always see your dentist for a quick exam
