What can i do at home to relieve tietze syndrome?

NSAIDs and heat.: Apply a heating pad to the area of discomfort, no more than 20 minutes at a time, perhaps thrice daily. NSAIDs like Motrin or Aleve (naproxen) will quell the pain by reducing inflammation locally.

Tietze syndrome: If not allergic, no stomach ulcer, and no renal or cardiac failure, you can use OTC medication like Motrin(ibuprofen) 200mg 3 tablets by mouth three times a day with food and hydration. NSAID's help decrease pain and inflammation. You can also try using heat, ice, and rest with stretches. Your doctor can prescrbe stronger pain medications. You may alternate motrin and trylenol every 4 hours.
