Vaginismus/ rigid hy: This is an infrequent condition but I have see few cases. There are two possibilities. Firstly, your girl friend may have rigid hymen which prevent entry and she feels pain. Secondly she may have vaginismus, which means that at the time of penetration the vaginal muscles strongly CONTRACT and make penetration impossible. Please persuade your girl friend to see a gynaecologist.
