Minimal: Laser simply uses light waves aligned in a linear fashion to deliver energy to a specific area. In the limited power use in physical therapy clinics, it is unlikely a person could experience any significant complications. Yes: These lasers are very effective without contra-indications. No laser rep will publicly say that there are no contra-indications if you are pregnant, but the belief is that it is safe.
