Every year i get bad allergies that don't go away for months. i've tried a few over-the-counter meds but its not doing the trick. please help!

May need more help!: It sounds like you are having seasonal allergies - maybe at the same time every year. It may be that it's the same batch of pollens that are provoking your symptoms. There is a wide assortment of prescription medications available to help you. It may even be appropriate to be tested for which substances are bothering you so that you can get allergy desensitization shots. Good luck.

Specialist: You must see an allergist to find the cause of the problem , skin test can give you some clue . Til you get an appointment do nasal saline rinse , steam inhalation , temporary use of afrin nose spray only once a , day just for 3 days. Must se an alergist.
