GENERIC brand: To my knowledge "falcon" is just the "general brand" name of a group of topical eyelids. It does not indicate the actual medication in the bottle. That is usually listed on the box separately.

What are the side effects of reusing restasis eye drops?

Dr. Matthew Rauen
Ophthalmology 16 years experience
? infection: Restasis does not contain a preservative. Preservatives prevent bacteria from growing in eyedrops that have a long shelf life. Therefore you should not open a vile of Restasis and use the same vile a week later. However (while not recommended by the manufacturer) you would likely be fine opening a vile in the morning and using the same vile later in the day.

What are the side effects of cosopt eye drops?

Dr. Richard Bensinger

A few: This is a combination drop of a beta blocking agent and a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. The beta portion can lower the maximum heart rate and cause breathing issues in those inclined to asthma. The carbonic portion is unlikely to do much systemically but could rarely cause kidney stones. Either of them could cause an allergic reaction. All of these are uncommon problems.
