Doubtful: Dbs is employed for advanced parkinson's disease, and dystonias, and rarely other tremors such as essential tremors which are highly disabling and not responsive to meds. There is no report that spasms or cramps will respond to this, and if you do have spasms look for associated peripheral nerve problems.

No: Dbs is effective at treating certain types of tremor (i.E parkinson's) but is not done for muscle spasms.

Possibly: Please get in touch with a neurosurgeon or neurologist who are involved with this procedure. The degree of tremors that you are affected with, as well as what causes them, will be very important in understanding wether you are a candidate for this procedure.

For ET possible: Depends what is causing the problem. Spasms can be caused by many things, usually peripheral and unlikely to respond to dbs. There is some evidence that dbs helps with refractory et (2008 american academy of neurology, practice parameter publication).
