Oral Herpes: A cold sore around your mouth is most likely herpes type one. This virus infects about 75% of americans. It should have no interaction or concern with your pregnancy. But, if you have not been tested for herpes type two maybe this is a good time to ask your physician for this test. For pregnancy the herpes type two is the one we most worry about.
