Family practice : A blood clot in leg causes calf pain and leg edema. Usually worse pain with movement. Rls causes no pain or swelling. It is usually relieved with movement. There is a sensation , a feeling that wants you to move. It often keeps you up at night. You may have both. Check with your dr if you are worried.

Ultrasound : I'm not aware of a blood clot causing restless leg syndrome. I'm assuming that you are talking of a venous clot or dvt. You can get a simple test called a venous doppler of your legs to rule this out. See your doctor.
