A member asked:

How can i loosen nits from hair shaft?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vinegar rinse: The use or cider vinegar or pickling vinegar have been found to loosen the nits & allow easier separation from the shaft with a nit comb. A generous amount applied to & worked through the hair may also kill some of the active lice. Repeat rinses can be used if the first does not do the job.
