No: Blisters normally resolve in a few days. Redness and itching could indicate the blister is becoming secondarily infected. Stop applying the Hydrocortisone cream as this will enable infection. Get it checked promptly. You may need antibiotics.

Not unusual.: Make sure all friction is stopped. Make sure fluid is drained. Apply antibiotic and bandage. You may also apply an otc cortisone cream.
