I hope this isn't a silly question but is the a way to clear up acne scars?

Laser/dermabrasion: Laser resurfacing or dermabrasion (not to be confused with microdermabrasion) are the best ways to reduce the appearance of acne scars. However, neither method will completely get rid of the scars. They just diminish them.

Acne Scar Treatment: Acne scarring can certainly be treated in a variety of ways depending on the type of scars and be sure active acne is under control.
