Yeast medication: You can try time and your immune system as well as limiting sugar and yeast in your diet, but typically, due to discomfort, patients prefer medication. I assume this is vaginal, but yeast under skin folds can be treated the same way - with an over the counter vaginal yeast medication/cream. If it doesn't respond to this you will need to be eval'd for other infection or resistance.

Yeast: Tx options: vaginal cream, ointment or suppository for sev. days (7 to 14 days sometimes). OTC meds include monistat (miconzole), Vagistat-1 (tioconazole), Femstat (buoconazole), Gyne-Lotrimin or Mycelex( clotrimazole). If OTC meds don’t work see your Dr. S/he may order Diflucan (oral antifungal) that is taken once (occasionally needs multiple doses for complicated cases). Some require maintenan
