Apply heat asap: The trick is to apply as much heat as possible, without burning your skin, as often as possible, as soon as sty noticed. If you do this 20-50 times per session (hot towel in hot water over your stye (avoid pushing on eye); re-heating when towel gets cold (like hot towel push ups), it will open the meibomian gland and allow the stye to resolve usually less than 3-4d. See eyemd otherwise. Good luck.
